I would like to tell you abut probrem that I see in the book.

In the Poppy field, Dorothy, thin woodman, scarecrow, and lion on there, but there are many poppies together thier odor is so powerful that anyone who breathes it falls asleep, and if the sleeper is not carried away from the scent of the flowers thier sleep on and on forever, but they did not know that. When the lion asleep nobody carried him , so they gave up to carried him. They left lion on the poppies field. I can not believe it because they are friends, but they give up and left lion on the poppies field. They must help lion.




I chose this situation because this is terrible happened. Sometime , I have bad situation about my friends, but I never betray my friends. It stuation makes me disappointed that is why I chose this situation.

News paper article [Staying ahead of the floods] July 23, 2008

Now, levees in Kent are repairing along Green River because there were dameged in the November 2006 flood. Everybody does not want to flood again. The Green River Valley is home to the state's largest warehouse district and carries hundreds of millions of dollars of freight on high ways and rail roads. There is importance of working.




My oppinion

Sometimes my hometown has flood too. At that time, I always consider about how natural disaster is menace to the human race. We are living with natural things,so we do not know when the disaster apper the world. We shoud give a lot of care to our life.

This week I read 27 pages this week. I understand about 65% of what I read.

Hello Dorothy, This is Shinta. Nowadays we did not contact each other, so I have been worrying about you. That is why I write a letter to you. You are always curious about something new. Do not be curious. I know it is your own life, but please notice that is my feeling.

If you were American, which language would you want to learn ?

If I were American, I would lke to learn spanish, because it is use the alphabet too, and Spanish is really usefull language. We can talk to South American. America has so many South American ,so it is really good to learn. Nowadays, I think Spanish language is become a important language of all the world because almost all people want to learn English or Chainese for a job or get better carrer. Before nobody think about South America where is cheap cost to develop something, but now some of people consider about South America for make factory or company insted of Asia. Actually I want to learn Spanish after I finish to learn the English. By the way, I would like to go South America because there are many beautiful place and beach. I like to see the beautiful things sach as made by nature. Sometims I go to the hiking to see nature things like a sea, mounten tree and sky. Now if I go to South America by my self I wold die, because I heard from my Spanish friends they said that if you go South America such as Columbia, Mexico, or Chili it is really dengerous for Asian because there are many mafia, gang or crazy people exit, so if you want go there, you have to learn the Spanish. After I heard that, Ido not want to go there, but now I change my mind I should learn the Spanish because now I am lerning the Engrish, it is similar with Spanish I think easy to learn. It is for job and travel. If I could speak Engrish and Spanish perfectly, I would got a good job and go to travel in South America. This is my answer.

At UW, tragic falls keep adding up

It happened tragically. Kevin MacDonald died after a June 14. He tumbled from his third floor fraternity bed room last month. The police found sustained fatal head injuries in his bed room, and they found rickety bunk bed on the hardwood floor with asneaker. Also at least 11 students have died or suffered injuries.



I think it was terrible, because I wanted to go to the UW, but now I do not want to go there. Why nobady discovered before 11 students died. I hope it will never happen anymore

I understand about 65% of what I read

Now story is getting close to crymax. Dorothy got two more friends. One of friend is thin woodman, and another one is cowardly lion. The thin wood man wants to have heart, because he does not have heart,and lion wants to courage. They are going toEmerald city to meet and ask something to Oz.

In my opnion, I like this story because it is like a human life. I mean, some of human do not have a brain, heart,and courage. It is not only Fairy tale. When I read that book I should thinking about that.

I like to read book at my house at the before sleep, but it takes few minues.

July 4th

July 4th, I met a my friend from Olympia. We wanted to talk to each other about anything our latest news. Actually we did not care what would happen in seattle on independence day. On the night of july 4th. We saw fireworks in the my room! It was great ! because I have never seen the fireworks in my room. I got good an experience !!!

Summer fun book #1

My summer fan book is Wizard of Oz . Author is L FRANK BAUM. This book has 198 pages. I stopped reading this week on page36. I understood 60% of what I read.

Do you know why am I chose this book ? because of cheap. I paid 5$ at borders.

It happen in the Kansas and land of Oz long time ago in America.

My favorite character is the Scarecrow because he is similar with me.

I think next, starting girl meets new friend in the Oz.

I like read bookat the daytime because I like to read in the under the sunshine.

My favorite bands

I would like to introduce my favorite bands. I like Oasis, Beatles, Sex pistols, and Ramones. These bands are my hero because when I feel lonely or boring, they make me fun everytime. I love thier sound, looks, atittude, and personality. Oasis and Beatles sounds like a rock music. Sex pistols and Ramones sounds like a punk music. but little bit different from rock and punk music. I mean all of these bands include pop sound, so if you do not like rock or punk music. I want to say that Listen all of these bands.
